Major leading countries and players worldwide - Aviation
Eurocontrol, the focal point of European aviation applications based on GNSS, has included the introduction of operations based on EGNOS as an integral part of its Navigation Domain Action Plan. EGNOS and Galileo will enable several operations (e.g. approaches with vertical guidance, curved approaches...) that will bring important benefits to airspace users. Several flight trials have been carried out (e.g. Nice airport) to demonstrate these benefits. [1]
