This section describes the technological standpoint of the satellite navigation systems, with a particular attention to the european systems: EGNOS and Galileo. Therefore it will point up the history of EGNOS/Galileo system, the status, performance and evolution of the system and finally the future trends and the expected technological evolutions.
GALILEO COMMERCIAL STANDPOINT
This section describes the commercial standpoint of the satellite navigation systems, with a particular attention to the european systems: EGNOS and Galileo.
To do that it will be shown the main applications in the field of GPS, the major leading countries and players worldwide, the assessment of the strategy of major space corporate players, the global market statistical figure and market shares related to the various existing applications, the public and private investment data, the policy practices, the technological advantage of the use of satellite based technology and the business opportunities in the sector.
